Acer Predator reaches 1,000Hz in a dedicated lower-resolution mode

The Predator XB273U F6 puts an unusually high refresh-rate option into a 27-inch IPS monitor. Its headline figure comes with a clear resolution trade-off.

Acer specifies 500Hz at the panel’s native 2560 × 1440 resolution. Dynamic Frequency and Resolution mode increases that to 1,000Hz while reducing the output to 1280 × 720.

The manufacturer also lists 95% DCI-P3 coverage, two HDMI 2.1 inputs and DisplayPort 1.4. The announcement positions the display for competitive gaming, where users may deliberately trade detail for speed.
