ASUS XG27ACMESR offers three resolution and refresh-rate combinations
PC Monitors describes a 27-inch Fast IPS display that trades image detail for higher refresh rates through its Triple Mode feature.
- 27-inch Fast IPS · native QHD
- Triple Mode: 280 / 365 / 550 Hz OC
ASUS lists overclocked modes of 2560 × 1440 at 280 Hz, Full HD at 365 Hz and HD at 550 Hz. The highest figure therefore applies to the lowest resolution, rather than native QHD.
The monitor supports variable refresh rates and ELMB Sync backlight strobing. HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort and USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode provide several connection options; the latter should not be mistaken for a high-power laptop docking solution.
The source also notes basic DisplayHDR 400 support. This announcement describes specifications, not measured motion clarity or a hands-on HDR assessment.
