75-inch colour e-paper reaches airport advertising
E Ink reports a Kaleido 3 installation beside the baggage carousels in Terminal 2 of Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport.

DynaScan provides the hardware integration, while OMNI Media operates the advertising service. The deployment uses 75-inch reflective colour displays designed to remain readable in ambient light.
The panel retains static content with almost no power and can operate on a battery, reducing the need for continuous mains cabling. E Ink also describes animation and video support. Dynamic content requires updates, so the static-image power advantage should not be treated as the consumption of every operating mode.
