KTC M27P6S review: glossy Mini LED with firmware trade-offs

  • 27-inch glossy IPS, 4K 160 Hz
  • 2,304-zone Mini LED backlight
  • Tested firmware: USA-1.0.1

The review finds accurate SDR presets and reduced blooming compared with the earlier M27P6. USB-C charging at 65W and a KVM switch broaden its usefulness beyond gaming.

Testing firmware USA-1.0.1 also exposes weaker HDR colour calibration, extra latency with HDR local dimming and an overdrive-control issue in 320 Hz mode. The sample had several dead pixels and a dust particle. These are findings from the reviewed unit, not measurements by MASTIFF or proof that every unit behaves identically.
