LG Display adds colour and brightness accuracy certification
Intertek testing covers the manufacturer’s large OLED panel lineup, including monitor and television applications.

The certification is named Perfect Color/Brightness Accuracy up to 500 lux. According to LG Display, the tests examine how colour and luminance change across different pattern sizes and adjacent colours, going beyond a single peak-brightness or gamut figure.
The announcement attributes the measured consistency to OLED’s pixel-level light control. Its scope concerns the tested panel lineup and conditions. It should not be read as a guarantee that every finished monitor, picture mode or calibration setting will reproduce every source identically.
