Samsung’s next Odyssey displays put screen format and speed in focus
Samsung’s Gamescom recap outlines its 2027 gaming monitor lineup, from a 49-inch ultrawide OLED to displays with multiple resolution and refresh-rate modes.

Samsung presented its next Odyssey generation at Gamescom in August. Its September recap describes the 49-inch OLED G9 with Dual QHD resolution and a 360Hz refresh rate, alongside a 42-inch curved OLED G7.
The 32-inch OLED G8 offers three settings: UHD at up to 360Hz, QHD at up to 520Hz and FHD at up to 680Hz. The 27-inch G6 is a separate model, offering QHD at up to 600Hz or HD at up to 1,100Hz. The highest refresh-rate figures therefore depend on reducing resolution.
