  • Technology: Flip-Chip Chip-on-Board dvLED.
  • Pixel-pitch options: 0.9–1.8 mm.

The range offers pixel pitches of 0.9, 1.2, 1.5 and 1.8 mm. Sharp describes a durable, cleanable surface and improved image contrast, with the closely spaced pixels intended to support detailed content viewed at shorter distances.

The manufacturer claims energy savings of up to 60% compared with SMD technology at the same brightness. That comparison is a supplier claim rather than an independent measurement. An optional remote power-supply system allows the power components to be located away from the display surface.
