Sharp displays support a consistent AV experience at Manchester Metropolitan

Sharp’s October case study describes a campus strategy built around familiar controls and shared display platforms, with the Dalton Building as its flagship implementation.

  • Dalton Building: more than 100 displays and a 4.8-metre LED wall.
  • Case study listed by Sharp on 5 October 2026.

The building contains more than 100 MultiSync large-format and interactive displays, plus a 4.8-metre-wide LED wall in reception. Across the university, M and ME Series displays form a common platform for teaching rooms, collaboration spaces and specialist laboratories.

The university worked with Roche AV on the wider integration. Sharp reports that AV support tickets fell by almost two-thirds across the AV estate. This is a reported result of the broader strategy, not proof that replacing displays alone produced the reduction. The Dalton Building opened in 2024; the source documents an ongoing installation.
