SmallHD Focus 504 brings flexible connections to compact camera rigs
SmallHD returns to the Focus name with a five-inch touchscreen that combines portable monitoring with full-size SDI and HDMI connections.
- The source announcement was published on 29 October 2026.
The Focus 504 has a 1920 × 1080 display rated at 1000 nits, 3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs and outputs, and PageOS monitoring tools. Its aluminium body weighs 310 grams without a battery. HDMI-to-SDI and SDI-to-HDMI conversion can help connect different parts of a camera setup.
A built-in Sony L-Series battery slot supports mobile use. Three locking USB-C ports provide different combinations of power, data and video; the main PVC port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode subject to the connected equipment, cable and firmware.
Integrated Wi-Fi is intended for wireless camera control, but SmallHD marks that function as coming soon. Camera-control licences will cost extra. This is a monitor, not a video recorder.
